High Streak European Blackjack follows the regular European Blackjack rules. It is played with two decks, which gives the player an advantage as compared to the normal eight decks online blackjack variants. The High Streak bet is optional, but you would not be playing this online blackjack variant if you did not want to activate the bet. The High Streak bet is placed on the 1st Streak to start with. If you win the game then the High Streak bet moves to the 2nd Streak without any payout for this bet. The main game bet pays out as usual. You place a fresh bet for the main game and play the next hand. If you win the second successive hand, the 2nd Streak win will pay even money immediately and the High Streak bet moves to the 3rd Streak. On the third successive win the 3rd Streak pays 2 to 1 immediately and the High Streak bet moves to the 4th Streak. In this manner the 4th Streak win payout is 5 to 1 and the 5th Streak win payout is 10 to 1. Then the High Streak cycle ends. At each stage the main game wins pay out independently. If you lose any hand then also the cycle ends without your bet moving to the higher Streaks. Blackjack games can end in a tie, and in the event the High Streak bet remains where it was and you play the next game. If you have split your hand in any game then the net result of both hands determines the win-loss outcome.

If you are new to Microgaming High Streak European Blackjack, you should place only one High Streak bet at a time. You should start on the next cycle only after the previous one ends. For expert players, there is a provision to initiate multiple cycles. When one bet moves to the 2nd Streak then you can place another bet on the 1st Streak and start a new cycle. Your payouts get a fillip with multiple bets on the table but there is an inherent drawback as well. If you lose one game then all the High Streak bets on the table will lose and will be removed.
